    The installer automatically selects the correct drive and folder (C:\ASTRO) but when I confirm it says the drive is not valid or ready.

    It installs and runs fine on MS-DOS 3.30 in 86Box.

    Commonly installers check for free space, and can get confused if there is "too much". I don't know if that is the case here, but something to check.

    @SomeGuy Now I understand. DosBox-x's DOS is able to see all the space in the partition I have dedicated to it (200 GB) and this does not allow the installer to work.
