How to uninstall MSVC v.1.52c

Can anyone tell me how to uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 1.52c from a Windows XP machine?

Can't see an uninstaller executable anywhere in the installed files and the set-up program doesn't include a "remove" option.

The best I've found is a system restore, which is only partly successful, followed by a manual search for remaining files.

When installing, I used the WinWorld .iso.

    What files remain after the System Restore? You can probably just put them in the Recycle Bin or permanently delete them (with Shift+Delete).

    Thank you. Yes. As it turns out, everything left behind was in the C:\MSVC folder. Nice and neat.

    That said, if you want to leave the software installed for any more than a few days, using System Restore is problematic.

    Wondering what I'm missing here. Were permanent installs the way things were done in 1983?
