This competed with QEMM and 386MAX. The installation serial number is on the disk label. Also included in the offer are the ads for other products from the distributer Mix Software.

In addition, it optimizes your system's use of memory and helps insure that your applications run with as much DOS low memory as possible. ■ Provides expanded memory (EMS) without a costly EMS card
■ Lets you run applications that require an EMS or extended Memory Specification (XMS) driver
■ Moves BIOS operations from slower ROM to faster RAM
■ Uses extended memory to backfill low memory to 640 Kb
■ Improves network memory management
■ Loads device drivers and terminate-and-stay-resident (TSR) programs into high DOS memory
■ Provides up to 952 Kb of contiguous DOS low memory for running applications
■ Provides a RAM disk in extended memory
■ Provides a built-in video accelerator"

Thanks. This was a good memory manager. 4.x unfortunately, came about right at the end of MS DOS development. V Communications rebranded and went on to other softs as VCOM, eventually getting absorbed into Avanquest - which is to this day a carrion feeder - picking up nearly dead sotware products, then haeking them until their carcasses are cold and stiff.

Especially valuable is the S/N - which is not present with the v4.03 that WinWorld has.
