  • yay! *waits*
  • Something to look forward to tomorrow, other then CHE and EET!

    -Q
  • Isnt it 1.0?
  • No, it's 1.0RP AKA .10. Supposedly this is going to be the base for 1.0

    -Q
  • .9 - .1 - 1.0 :?
  • .10! You lost a SF there!

    -Q
  • Theres no difference really but to make you shutup

    .9 - .10 - 1.0 :?
  • wouldnt .10 be equal to .1?????

    boy am i confused
  • Yes there is in BOTH ways.

    Phoenix .1 and Firefox .10 (.1 as you call it) are miles apart, I'm sure.

    And .1 and .10 are not the same in science either.

    -Q
  • In science, No.

    In math, they are :-)

    .10 = 10/100, reduce that = 1/10, in decimal that would be .1 :-)
  • I think someone in College level classes would know that, lol.

    Yay! I'll have to tell them to update the FFX at school, I think the Cisco guys installed it.

    Awaiting!
  • I said math, not science you dope LOL
  • Uh, speaking of dope, looks like you had your share today.

    Q and Fish take college level classes... so I think they'd know the little math lesson you put there.
  • Uhhh people, theres a .8, .9. .10, .11, etc. You can have like .99999 and its still a decimal. Notice this:

    Powered by phpBB 2.0.10
  • I still have no idea why this requires discussion past 3rd grade. Decimal points= a decimal number.

    Mathemattically[sp], .1=.10
    Not scientifically. The end.
  • WTF? Isnt that what I just said, .1 and .10 are the same
  • Look, the fact that phpBB, Mac OS, and Windows all use(d) 2 decimal points means that this isn't even legal math, it's just versioning systems.

    10 comes after 9, so it's the next version.

    -Q
  • 11 comes after 10, therfore, the next bugfix in PHPBB, will be 2.0.11.
  • I think the reason it's labeled "2.0.10" is for people who would think "2.0.1" is before "2.0.09".
  • Damn... I haven't understood... Is this a version 1.0 or just 0.10...
  • In science, No.

    In math, they are :-)

    .10 = 10/100, reduce that = 1/10, in decimal that would be .1 :-)

    Wrong again IBM (hey that rhymes).

    .1 = .10 = .100

    1/10 = 1/100 1/1000

    You simplify your fractions in Science, and math, and every thing else that uses numbers,
  • Im now getting FireFox 1.0PR, Its NOT really 1.0 yet, its still a release candidate, thats why its .10 for real.
  • Oh, it's just an RC version... pre release... Well, let's wait for the final...
  • does it have anything new?

    feature-wise
  • RSS Feed support, better pop-up blocking, now it ASKS to install extensions, etc.
  • And it makes Windows64 close it because it violates DEP!

    A few new menuitems, (Check Help > for something new!).

    -Q
  • OMG the "Plugin Finder" svc "owns"! It finds and installs things like Flash and Java without taking you to that crap happy NS page buissiness, installs them, shows you the licesne agreement from the site, and DOESN'T MAKE YOU RESTART FFX TO USE THE PLUGIN!!!

    -Q
  • AND, click on one of the "AIM" buttons on a usrs post and see if you see something new!
