Theres tons of scripts that can do what SigX does.

BabbX is well under way. It now saves a file to ...\htdocs\babbx.bmp

So far it prints some words i put on a forum,

Macintosh + bitmap = :-(

And they're too damn big and PHPbb doesnt like it

I'm working on it. you don't see me rushing to put in my sig a 800 kb bmp when it is 2 kb for jpg

They're FAR too big and cumbersome.

They have a patent on them, or did but it expired in certain countries. GIFs also have a # of shortcomings that PNGs and (1ce Ffx and IE and imaging progs support them) MNGs.

I think BabbX should be a universal program for all platforms... so, make a linux, mac versions,... and please, no BMPs...
