Well iv'e expanded a file from my XP cd and i have modified it. So how exactly do i compress it back to its .xx_ format?

XX_ is a form of CAB file.

The "compress" utility from the Windows 2000 Resource Kit.

If you don't have it, try to pack using powerarchiver, but always select format CAB (Microsoft)
