yeah ok i know its supposed to be a security thing and i can see why you'd have it, but i'm the only one that uses it so my question how on earth do you turn off that god forsaken dialog box in windows NT 4? if you can......

  • I don't know if this would work under NT4, but here goes

Goto start>run type in control userpasswords2 then click OK, then go to the advanced tab, and uncheck the "Require Users to Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete"

I currently dont have a copy of NT4 set up on VMware so hopefully this would work....
  • I dont think its possiable to turn that off in NT.

It is, but you have to use the automatic logon thing.
  • yeah so enter no passwords and skip most protection, or live with the magic 3 keys. I let NT ask me whatever it wants.
