Shit Computers
Here's a funny topic which you can all laugh your balls off at!
What's the crappest, and I mean CRAPPEST computer that everyone here owns, sortof a small competition.
Mine's a Zenith (hence the name) 286 laptop. Here's the specs:
Intel 80286 12MHz processor
No extended RAM (only 640KB base)
20MB hard drive
3 1/2" floppy drive
Monochrome LCD screen
Battery (lasts 1/2 hour)
Weighs about 5KG!!
Not exactly portable is it?

Well, the crappiest laptop I have is a Zenith MastersPort 386SX. It has 640k base memory and 1024kb extended with 384k shadow RAM. It has a broken 3.5" floppy and has a 60mb drive. It has a 808386 processor. It has a monochrome VGA CRT display (with vga video out port for a monitor). It also has a 9600kbps modem.
The crappiest PC I have, which is in storage:
Hyundai 286 PC.
808286 processor at 12 MHz (with optional switching to 8MHz)
42MB HDD
5.25" Floppy Drive
3.5" Floppy Drive
Standard cheap ass VGA card (only 255 color)
LPT1: port, mouse port, unique keyboard port (which means that only 1 kind of keyboard can plug into it)
9600 kbps modem
Those machines are the most crappiest machines I've ever come to use, other than my bro's Pentium 100.
Never heard of that one...

640Kb of RAM
10Mb MFM Hard Disk (It actually needed it's own BIOS on the card)
720K 3.5" Floppy drive
1.2M 5.25" Floppy drive
From what I remember it had the newer PC-XT board. The older one would only take 256K of RAM and only 360K floppy drives.

Dell Optiplex GxA
233MHz PII
192MB RAM
2GB HDD
While in dos, you can hit Ctrl + plus (+) or Ctrl + minus (-) to change from 12MHz to 8MHz.

40mb HD
3x cd rom reveal brand
panasonic 1.44mb floppy drive
320watt power supply
4mb shadow ram - think that was it extended ram
512k base ram i think

i keep getting that alot for some reason, when I go to a topic or to post something.
I'll bet it was for apps that ran too fast at 12 but fine at 8. lol
Thats the one, when it's actually operational.
It has a blue backlit LCD that looks kinda cool, but fucks up whenever a color application is run, lol. It's got Windows 286 on it (for some reason).
