  • What browser are you using? I'll guess Mozilla.
  • now I feel bad about using red hat :(
I downloaded it last year, this is the first chance I got to play with it,
I am using mozilla 1.4.2 and java 1.4.2_06, libjava1.4.2_04.oji.so is it is in the mozilla plugin folder /urs/lib/mozilla-1.4.2/plugins it is in there but just wont work.....
I also tryed java 1.5.0 but said the file was already there

I think I will flip a coin and go back to xp pro. :?
    (fail)
  • if your gonna use linux as a desktop, pick a better on than redhat like SuSE or Slackware
  • The last release of RH is *old.* Get SuSE or Ubuntu.
  • yea like 2 yrs old
  • Redhat has only stopped making personal Linux. They still make "professional" Linux.

But Fedora Core is now the next generation of Redhat which is probably even more retarded than Redhat was.
  • ok going to sit and reinstall windows... thanks everyone

    LMAO

And there ends the journey of another "Linux user".

Good choice. Stick with what works.

... So, there are many people in this world not understanding Linux. And i haven't seen any new members get BSD lately or even try it out

Am I mistaken, or does it look like you're trying to install another fight ... ? Who mentioned BSD?

However, Yoda says: Quite blind you are, hmmmm! There have been like 2-3 members, if not more, who have recently done stuff with *BSD.

Ok, First, I dont think I have started a fight before, and just because someone switches from Linux to Windows is ok, because Linux is not for everyone, some people like it, while others don't.

NOw for this fights.. I don't believe I EVER started a fight.

  • Going off topic happens to ~99.99% of the threads in this forum, as for starting fights, well someone on this page said something that probably hits close to what most ppl might consider the truth.

    -Q
  • Yea but:

    1. Sometimes things go back ontopic, like with the WEP cracking.
    2. The first thing that gets there wins. Linux vs. Windows.
