You can already download the RC of SP1 for Win2k3. Its going to be fully released in the middle of next year. Probably Late Spring.

I laugh at service packs. It just shows that MS has found a major issue in windows and they make the service pack to deal with it and add some updates so you don't have to spend the day downloading seprate updates from the windows update site.
