Windows XP home > PRO

My laptop is currently running Windows XP home with SP2, and I want to upgrade it to Windows XP Pro. I have XP Pro NL SP2 on a cd, can I just pop the disc in (in windows) and just click install XP? I want to keep all my installed software, and I dont want to loose everything.

You would need the full version of XP Pro to do that. Just pop in the CD in windows and select update.

Ah ok, I have the full version, with SP2 integrated.

Without any doubts, you can, if only the languages of both OSes are the same.
Be careful, you cannot restore your Home without removing Pro, if you decide that...
