DVD Authoring

Right here's the scenario I have.

9 time 50 minute AVI's on my computer. I want to place them on DVD so that they can play on a DVD Player. But I want on this DVD a set of Menus like on Professional DVD's to select things like an episode selection and special features for example. Also placing a small video when the dvd starts up like for example a Studios Logo and copywrite notice etc.

Is there any software out there that could allow me to do this.

i think nero has a menu system. my DVD-RW came with that and something by cyberlink

You can not make DVD authoring unless you have special hardware.

I think DVD Authoring is a DVD-R burnt on a special hardware.

the powerproducer will make the menus he wants for the dvd, and I believe also the copyright notice

At least there is such for CD-Rs, you can't burn the authoring ones without special studio cd recorders.

I saw software that did that on a PC on one of those shopping channels. I forgot the name though... But, Yes you can do it...

And for the creation of such a disc (Master disc) you need indeed professional hardware.
Loads of music is still recorded by using huge analog multitrack tapedecks, and is then recorded on a master disc.
