Hello, at school I have a printer to work on that doesn't pick up paper either though it's bottom tray or front tray. Any ideas on how to get it to take paper? It thinks it is out of paper so it seems that it isn't even detecting that paper is present.

Look around for a schematic that shows where the paper detector is and see if that's working.
