I had DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11 on a computer then installed 95a over it. All I had to do to have full use of DOS and 3.11 was hold F8 while it was booting then select "Load previous version of MS-DOS". I never had any trouble with it and it was pretty simple to set up. Just can't use FAT32.

I've done that before. Basically though, there's a patch to get Windows 3.1 to run on DOS 7.x and FAT32. I think you can only do that F8 trick with the original August '95 edition of Windows 95.
