    Yea now it works but after importing this stuff into registry I got non-transparent icon text.
    Like this:

    To my surprise, I can't do that. I re-enabled it and it didnt become transparent!

    the colour behind the icons is the bg colour...... somthings' fucked

    It could be the Active Desktop setting that you turned off in the registry, try turning it back on and see if it works.

    Or it could be the ClassicShell setting...

    active desktop was on.......

    "NoActiveDesktop"=dword:00000000 = Active desktop is on



    "NoActiveDesktop"=dword:00000001 = active desktop is off

    0 = disable 1 = enable :p

    OMG I heard that even if you turn the active desktop off, it's still on, cause WinXP cant live without Active Desktop

    i think MS removed a traditional way to turn it off cause it confused n00bs..... remember XP is supposed to be easier (or n00b friendly)

    Nope, that wont work, iexplore.exe isnt the IE core thats intergrated into windows
