Pissed off and confused.
A few months ago I bought two sticks of Rosewill DDR 400 512MB. Only one seems to work at a time. When I try to use both the system just beeps like crazy, more like one long beep that seems to go on forever. Anyway, In SiSoft Sandra it says that two slots are in use with 256MB in each slot.
Bank 0/1 = 256MB
Bank 2/3 = 256MB
It's kinda werid. I sent a email to Gigabyte (my mobo vendor) and they said my memory is unstable and said there was no way that even one stick would work. Yet I have one stick in right now and it works. I've ran Memtest on both sticks and no errors. Im just going to give up on it and buy somw new sticks that Gigabyte told me I should use.
