Is it possible to get a login screen like windows xp's without windows xp(takes up too much HDD space) for windows 2000? its for my dad not me.

Fast user switching was made for Windows XP, along with the welcome screen. There is no possible was (that I know of) to incorporate this into Windows 2000 at this time. Sorry

well unless somone made somthing to modify winlogon.exe i don't think this can be done...
however, you try installing XP using XPlite or NTlite, i forget but i think both will do it..
anyways install XP without extra stuff like media player, MSN explorer, movie maker, etc.

i got another 3 gig drive i'm usin for linux
on win 2000 drive i have 1.2 gb left
