Not quite as bad as possible

I'm in unpatched IE6 SP1a now and it's probably as bad as most people rembemberd (It just froze up at the behest of Windows Update!):

Utterly molasses-slow page scrolls
Skinnable scrollbars (Sortof cool)
Better illustrations of tabbing and keyboard selection
Awful "MSN" error search pages
Annoying messages ("People can read this in transit!" for a Google search)

Anything I should look out for during this incredibly rare time window?

  • I forgot the worst one, IE7's new "ClearType" or whatever is unbeleiveably[sic] hard to deal with!

How about IE4. It freezes at the best of times, and almost always crashes the computer.
  • Or Mozilla firefox 0.8. It, too, freezes the computer always.
  • Neither of which come preinstalled with Windows XP SP1a, which was why I was using, and "reminiscing", about that one.
