phpBB throws strange errors every now and then. I would just check and see if your edit/delete succeeded and then going from there.

However, this is a seperate issue so I'm splitting it off.

I haven't noticed anything lately... At what point (while you are doing what) are you getting these errors?

Yes that's was REALLY annoying : )

It was exactly when I wanted to edit one of my post's in the thread "Post your monitor specs." for correct it : )
