Restore files not detected under vista!
hey guys,
i just backed up my computer with all my important files, and i can see the backup was succesgul as there is a folder in my other drive which says "WindowsImageBackup". Now i then formatted the disk(the one without the backup image on it) then re-installed vista ultimate x64 (exactly the same OS as before). I got to restore from this computer it says there is no backup files! ALthough i can clearly see the folder is still there. I chose advanced option and directed it to my drive D. Still no luck. Please help me guys as i ahve to finish a prject and all the files are in the backup!

Edit: Turns out it was a complete pc backup, that restores my enitre c drive via the vista recovery disc. It saved as a .vhd file, so what im planning to do is mount it delete the windows folder and copy it over to my physical c drive.
