WFW 3.11 "addon" ?

I found some floppy disks labeled WFW 3.11 add-on disks 1 - 8.

Is the add on something different? Or is this the same thing you have already?

Also of possible interest, I found disks 1,2 & 4 of "Alone In The Dark" as well as disk 2/2 of "Descent".

    Wfw 3.11 add-on is just wfw 3.11 with a hacked setup.exe. I have both.

    What's the difference between the hacked and the normal one???

    Wfw ao reads win.ini and system,ini.

    Think of it as a 'step-up' version.

    the upgrade vers just checks for any file (including a null file), named win.com.

    Ahh, ok :)

    I guess that this lead to better HW and already installed DOS apps support
