  • That looks like some 2004 shit.

    Also looks like SUSE Linux.

2004? Looks pretty much like a modern KDE install to me...

Maybe that goes to show how much Linux DE's have changed...
  • I know it's a modern install. I was making a joke about it. That's the shit I put in Pentium II boxes back in 2004. I found the interface shitty back then too.
  • zimmy: your server security cert is broken
  • I like the look of your Konqueror windows. More info on what settings you used to get that?
  • why is that horse image on SSL?

Those are the default settings, and that's KDE 4.3.x.

BTW: This is my retail M$Linux 11.2 DVD.

  • Dude, that is fucking OpenSUSE linux. OpenSUSE is lead by novell, not microsoft. So please, fucking get it right.

Just out of curiousity, how many of you here actually use a legitimate copy of windows 7?

Actually, I do. yay for MSDN.

I do too, also through MSDN (though its my dad's account)
  • the real question is, how the hell can you confuse a linux distro with something from microsoft?
  • As I said, M$ Linux doesnt exist. :P
  • well I reinstalled 7 a while back, with a pirate disk, and I used some sort of crack, and every 5 hours I get some stupid message saying my windows is a pirate coppy,

It never bothers me tho, Its a Great way to tell me I need to get up and move for a bit,

the only time I want to kill it is when vlc is in full screen, it goes right in the middle

But umm how do i get it to go away?

I can think of a few ways.

    1. Buy a legal copy of Windows 7.
    2. Reinstall, activation crack, and disable Windows Update.
    3. Try one of those "WGA Removal" tools designed to work AFTER your copy has been compromised. I dunno if they exist for Windows 7, but I've seen them for XP and I know someone who used one after their desktop turned black and it said their copy wasn't genuine, and it did work.

I run a copy of Windows 7 mostly because I need to stay current with the times in order to be a useful tech. I <3 Ubuntu...the only reason I really use Windows anymore is for DirectX games that I can't run on Ubuntu or in WINE.

  • Yea, I'm thinking I am going to run that wat thing,

I'm not paying for a coppy of 7, as there are a crap load of versions,

I just dont feel like rebooting, I've been up for over 3 weeks know, lol
  • What steps do I need to go through to get into the MSDN?

By the way, copy only has one P.
  • Oh thanks uponcpu, I guess my spell check did not see it,

also what is this msnd i keep seeing?

  • Oh, I tough it was something, free, but its not, Lol,

I think the pirate bay has more,
  • You're missing the point, Jake...
  • Yea, I am missing the point,

I'm taking its something for developers tho, What I'm not
