Like I said, for some users it's easier, for me it makes no difference. Besides, when I access a folder, I usually use the run box / search box anyway.
I think he might mean the simplicity of the system itself (EG. No user accounts, simpler-ish system structure). If you're not anywhere you have to worry about other people using it, and aren't going online, why not? Fish I remember you used it for ages on the Aptiva when you got sick of reinstalling XP every third week.
No, I don't mind the user accounts and file permissions or anything like that. I just liked the simple design of explorer back in those days. NT 4 was nice, although multiple users shared the same recycle bin.
