How to install Windows NT 3.1 in VMware?

Hello, I'm trying to install this: http://wdl1.winworldpc.com/(Abandonware)%20Operating%20Systems/PC/Windows%20NT/Microsoft%20Windows%20NT%203.1%20Workstation%20(3.10.511.1).rar

In VMware, but when I mount the floppy image and the disc image with it, I get the setup page, but then it says I have no disc drive installed or something like that...

  • make sure the CDROM drive is IDE, not SATA/SCSI (in the vmware vm config)

    Well the problem I get is it says it needs a CD-ROM SCSI device recognized by Windows NT.
  • So configure the CD-ROM drive as IDE...
