SQL problems when posting

When I was trying to update my old post's title, I've got the error bellow for using " on it....

Error in posting

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : -1 ERROR: value too long for type character varying(60)

UPDATE phpbb_topics SET topic_title = 'Bought a \"New\" Monitor (Update: Bought a 20 LCD)...', topic_type = 0 WHERE topic_id = 5403

The thread was "I Bought a new monitor". I've had to ditch the "s to post correctly

Have you tried posting without the dots at the end? Because the error is about the title being too long, not about the quotes in the title.

I've just edited one of my threads to put quotes in and it worked just fine.
