Windows 3.11 problem

I have a problem with Windows 3.11 Setup.
When I come to the name part, I can`t move the mouse inside the Virtual machine :cry:

Is there a way to fix this?

    What virtual machine are you using?

    make sure you're emulating a ps/2 mouse, not a usb one.

    even though its a virtual pc and it may not seem like you need one,
    you do, in fact, need a mouse driver.

    pop in disk 4 of the win 3.1 installation disks,
    in dos, type:
    expand a:\mouse.co_ c:\mouse.com
    then edit autoexec.bat
    and add "mouse.com" in it.

    hopefully that helps.
