Windows 3.1 in VirtualBox?

I am having a problem with running Windows 3.1 in the free Oracle VirtualBox software. The mouse will move erratically. I need to know how to fix this, because I will
not
use a GUI interface with a keyboard. My DOS version is 7.10.

Use VMWare. This is a known problem that probably won't get fixed anytime soon.

3.1 worked for me! I used MS-DOS 7.10, installed, then mounted my Win 3.1 ISO. I then used (setup.exe?) to install, and viola.

I basically installed the SVGA driver (256 Colours, 800x600) and used the SVGA Patch to patch it up. The mouse worked then
