ac97 sound cards

Is there a driver out there to get a ac97 sound card to work under dos. I have a realtek sound card and it's a ac97 sound card. I have a driver for windows 9x for it. I like to find a pure driver for dos. I been hunting all over the internet but no luck. Some one had to make a plain driver for dos out there. I did find a driver for sound blaster live for dos. But i don't know if sound blaster live was a ac97 sound card and if it will work on other sound cards.

    PCI connection and DOS is a bad idea :?
    and an ac97 onboard ist connected via PCI, it will not work well...
    especially for DOS games you need an ISA-Sound Card, because the games directly connect to the Soundcard with their drivers :wink: (and no old game has a driver for PCI and even more for an ac97)
