I'm wondering if the version of solaris Winworld provided here, Solaris 2.5.1 and 2.4 has CDE (Common Desktop Environment)? I tried searching on the cd, but with no knowledge, I very much stuck. Any info would be appreciated.

IIRC it was a separate package back in the olden days. OpenWindows is probably the default desktop on a release that old.

It could even lack openwindows and instead be using sunview/suntools (don't remember when sun switched from suntools/sunview to openlook/openwindows)
