Mac OS 8 problems

I've downloaded the install discs for Mac OS 8.1 and 8.5 from here, and neither of them are willing to work with QEMU, nor with any program capable of showing the contents of an ISO file. Are the files corrupt in any way, or is there some trick to getting them to work I'm not aware of?

    QEMU does not emulate a mac firmware. You need something along the lines of SheepShaver. HFSExplorer might be able to open the ISO images for viewing; SheepShaver should boot from them without issue.

    You're right. I guess I should read up more on things before messing around with them.
