Microsoft Windows 1.0 with VirtualBox issues

I recently downloaded the Windows 1.0 Premere Edition from the software library (first mirror) from this site. I tried mounting the .img file provided in the archive in VirtualBox, but it didn't work. I don't really know to much about virtual machines, so that might be impeading a little bit. Does anyone know how I could fix this?

I'm also having this issue with the other OSs that come with .img files, so any help would be amazing! Thanks!

i have never been able to get 1.0 to work in VBox you might try VPc 5.x or lower as for the .img thing i would reinstall virtualbox
