windows nt 4.0 advanced power management

edited February 2013 in Software
Does any know if they made a advanced power management driver for windows nt 4.0 for desktops. I just need something so i can set it to turn my monitor off at lease. They made them for laptop to turn off the monitor and shut down the computer. I try few of them but they seem not to work on desktop. I been looking all over the internet and just finding them for laptops. Thank for the help.

  • APM is touchy in Windows NT. What kind of hardware do you have? You'll probably just go with ACPI, not APM, as I'm pretty sure NT supports it. Also, are you running the newest service pack?
  • I have service pack 6a installed. I have a asus pb2 slot 1 motherboard. It has a p3 450mhz cpu with 384mb of memory installed.
