So, after several years of purchasing/using O&O Defrag I decided to give the free Auslogics Defrag a spin. While I haven't actually done any benchmarking I'm impressed with the results, particularly the speed. And yes I'm aware that many (if not most) 3rd party defraggers are just pretty GUI wrappers for the built-in Windows 7 defrag.

I've had pretty good success using MyDefrag. It has a very good and powerful script interface if you're interested.
