kernel ex not installing?

i have an old windows me computer.i wanna get it on the internet without wires.i have the wireless adapter,but it needs additional drivers to work.i downloaded the drivers,but they are only compatible with windows xp.i tried installing Kernel Ex 4.5.2 .it asks me to install microsoft layer for unicode.i did that,but the setup keeps giving me the error.Any solutions? :cry:

  • KernelEx only supports applications, not drivers.

    You're better off getting an adapter compatible with 9X, installing XP, or sucking it up and accept the stability of ethernet.
  • Get the PCI Vendor and PCI Device addresses from the Wifi adapter and google it. You might be lucky and score some drivers for 9x.
