Windows Whistler
OK. Yesterday I downloaded WIndows Whistler and tried to install it on a VM. It asked me for a license key. What do I do here? (And no, I'm not trying to use Whistler as a substitute for XP. I just want to run the beta OS, preferably forever. I like beta stuff.)

After I've installed it, is there any way to make the activation permanent or would I have to reinstall it every 180 days?

I'm assuming this means it is build 2542... Either way, I got it from the very last link in the list.
Does that mean it's still a beta or is that the full-blown os? (I'm asking because I ran into a post in The River of Dumb... and I have absolutely no idea where the heck the beta stuff ended and the os stuff began. All I really know about that is that the licence agreement was for a 180 day trial. )
I'm taking a shot in the dark with this, I'll admit that.
PS. Have some positive karma. It's like whose line is it anyway in terms of value, but it's quite rare we have nice posts here it seems.
If none of the keys listed work because that build is newer than the listed ones let us know, but for the most part the keys *should* pretty much work on most builds...
I need a product key for build 2428 Beta 2.
