windows NT 4 image using acroins
i am just wondering if anyone has ever worked on windows nt 4 image using acroins
what i am trying to do is to take an image form working windows NT pc that has an old software that i want to back-up
the problem there is usb in the pc so i can not take the image using acroins
i am thinking of putting another hd on the pc to store the image
any help is appreciated

If it has USB then just create a bootable jump drive with Gparted and run disk dump onto another hard drive. Would work also as a bootable CD. This way you don't have to play with any software to restore it. Just pop in the backup hard drive.
what is the software you used , you mentioned Open Source Software .. what is the name of the software..
the pc has cd room but No USB
dd if=/dev/sdc of=/home/user/image
Parameters will vary on system.
what i really need is to take an image from the whole pc with the application program..
do you think attaching the HD to another pc will allow me to take the image
But like they said, if you can attach the hard drive to another computer you'll be able to run the program from that machine's OS or bootable media and save the image file you want to the second drive.
