Wolfenstein 3d rebuilt

I came across a old project on mod database that some one rebuilt Wolfenstein 3d. It's only the first episode though.

Nice looking. I've seen a lot of remakes using doom-style maps, some of those were pretty good for multiplayer.

It looks like this author is trying to stay true to the original levels. A quick problem you run in to is that many of the rooms are really too big. That is not really an issue with the original's cartoony style, but as you add more realism it becomes more apparent. And then there is always the temptation to add more detail, such as putting treasures on tables, or making secret doors more than just big sliding bricks... or adding a big lava pit with pink demons and imps :P
