Help installing Win95 OSR 2.5

I have tried several times to install Windows 95 OSR 2.5, OSR 2, OSR 1, and RTM. I have tried on both VMware Workstation 11 and Oracle Virtualbox. After each installation, the point when installing drivers, it asks me to insert the install CD. I have the ISO mounted on the drive but it still asks me to insert it. I have looked in the files of the ISO image, and the requested files are there. Can somebody help?


I need to use Virtualbox and I am installing OSR 2.5.

    Copy the setup files from the CD in to a folder on the hard drive. Then run setup from the hard drive.

    You've 2 ways of doing this (at leas the two I always used).

    You can install DOS first, then install a CD driver for it; the reason it asks for the CD is because 95 doesn't have native CD drivers that early on in the install.

    Or you can use a windows startup disk, format the drive and copy the 95 install files onto the HDD and run from there.
