Windows 2000 Professional DualBoot with Windows 8.1 Update

Hey.
I was digging through some old CD's at my house, and while coming along some very interesting programs, I found a GENUINE Windows 2000 Professional CD.
My question is, is it possible to DualBoot Windows 2000 Professional with Windows 8.1 Update? Or will it mess up 8.1?

    As long as you don't have both of them share a single partition then it will be fine.

    If you've got Windows 8.1, chances are you're using GPT and possibly EFI booting. You may come across some issues with those. It might be easier with a second drive or even virtualising it.

    When you install, make sure to restore W8.1's BOOTMGR, as Windows 8.1 won't even boot or be detected by 2K's NTLDR.

    Always install Windows in chronological order, so the system can handle everything. You'll likely have problems booting 2000 on anything remotely modern. Use a virtual machine.
