Do you remember the Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia?

It was one of the many Encyclopedias that was bundled with computers in the 1990s.

  • anabate you have an account already so there is no need for sock puppets. Your anabate123 has been banned. Do not create any further sock puppets.
  • Not that it matters, but I have copies of 95 and 98 around here somewhere. It had Patrick Stewart in it doing narration if I remember.

  • I had either 1998 or 1999 with the atlas (combo pack) before it was stolen. the software was awesome. my fav part was the star charts....
so many projects were done using those old enclyopedia cd's in high school back in the day....
but yea compton's was the best out of them all.
  • My parents bought a copy back in 95. I only used it once.
  • Great software! Totally had that 90s charm to it. Didn't it let you put together presentations as well or something like that?

I think the CD-ROM is still at my parents house, I should get them to bring it next time they visit.
