3D Studio cursor locked

I had download 3d studio R4. Installed it in on virtual machine (Virtual Box - Oracle). All done. But the cursor of 3D Studio keep locked. Someone may help me?

Are you running this under DOS, or Windows 9x? What mouse driver did you install?

You might consider using DOSBox for this, although it should work under VirtualBox.

I`m running it on (DOS) Windows 95 , VirtualBox - Oracle.
I dont know where I find the mouse driver, may be on the VirtualBox?
Windows 8.1 on a i7 Intel machine 12 GB ram (Perhaps this is usefull).

If you aren't restarting into DOS mode, Windows has its own mouse driver for DOS stuff.

If you are running in just DOS mode, you can use the mouse drivers here: https://winworldpc.com/product/microsoft-mouse/11x

As ampharos pointed out, if you are running inside Windows 9x, then you will not need the mouse driver.

The mouse problem is solved. However I was disappointed because of excessive locking the program. There is still something to hit

Thank you for DOSBox tip SomeGuy,
Became the .img to .iso images and used them in DOSBox.
It is running 100% and very fast.
3D Studio R4C1 for DOS unlocked
