Windows Vista

edited August 2015 in Software
So, despite the fact that XP will not be on here for a while, what about Vista? Looks to me like Vista has fallen to less than 5% of use and is going to be 7 years old in 2016. I know not to ask for XP, and I don't need it, but can we skip a generation and post Vista? It will also be kicked out of production with Windows 10, if it hasn't been already.

Just wondering out loud.

  • Despite much dislike this, Vista still on extended support as shown here, so the answer is no.
  • Not until the extended support ends on April 11, 2017. If then everybody will completely forget about the system, then most likely it'll become an abandonware, but probably only after XP becomes abandonware as well (which won't happen until at least 4-5 years).
