OS Editing (ISO Editing)

edited September 2015 in Software
Hello!

I'm here to inquire all the people here who have had experience with editing iso files, such as vanilla linux, windows, (maybe mac),
but anyway, what i am here to ask said people, is "What is the most flexible os for iso editing; in the sense of less conflict, less migraines, and a more smooth trip."

Now don't get me wrong

I do understand with any editing and/or developing there will be conflict, migraines, and a rough way to go, I'm just looking for the one with less.
Thank you for your time

    Rip me
  • That is a new one on me. A OS that can edit ISO files...... Great now I has to explain to my kids why I am laughing so hard.
  • I'm confused.
  • I hate to burst your bubble, but there is no one OS or utility that is "best" for creating ISO files.

Personally I recommend older versions of ImageBurn (2.4.4.0) on Windows. But, for example, that can't handle Mac HFS stuff - nothing outside of the Mac really does. There are lots of other little features that one may support that others won't.

So you need to know what your ISO's target OS is, and just shop around for the tools that have the features you want.
