Problem With Virtual Box
I'm not sure if this is a hardware problem or a software problem. This is probably the first trouble I have ever had with Virtual Box. I have recently downloaded the new Android 86x ISO from sorceforge. So after I setup the vm and insert the ISO the machine boots up to the GRUB menu with a selections of choices. When I select the live cd the machine goes into a freeze state with a blank white screen. When I try to install the OS the Linux kernal is decompressed and checks some things until I get this:

I'd recommend Kitkat until Lolipop is stable enough.
Ok I'll download the Kitkat Version and see how that goes..
Update: Downloaded the version 4.4 r3 which is located here. http://www.android-x86.org/releases/releasenote-4-4-r3 And I got the same result...
