windows xp be came broken

I am booting windows 7 and windows xp on the same computer on two difference hard drives. I haven't booted into windows xp in 2 months. When i booted into windows xp to update it it told me i had to active it and won't move off from the sign in screen. I all ready active it after i installed it and was using it for a month before i stop for a while. When i click active it tells me it all ready active and i click ok and then it will log me off and tell me it's not active. So i am lost here. Never ran into this and maybe someone would know how to fix it. Thank you for the help i can get.

Boot safe mode and AntiWPA it.

Thank you gave it a try and it works great now. I ran my antivirus and i had a few virus on my windows xp hard drive. So i clean them up and reboot the computer and log into my windows xp and it work great now. Thank you again.
