Clipper requires product ID during installation

edited July 2016 in Software
I downloaded the file "CA-Clipper 5.3 for Windows and DOS (3.5).7z".
I was able to open the file and extract everything but now I cannot install the application because it requires a product ID which I haven't.
It says "Enter the Product ID number located on the bottom of the box" but there is no box of course.
Where can I get this product ID?

  • Wait, the product ID included in the archive's text file didn't work?

A downloaded file "CA-Clipper 5.3 for Windows and DOS (3.5).7z" is Disk Image (8ea disks) + .txt file.

It works on PCEM emulator with 386 CPU + Windows 3.1.
(Also it works on real 386/486/Pentium PC on Windows 3.1, but you must write disk image to real 3.5" 1.44MB floppy.)

There is no problem to install and run.
Product ID is included in the archive's text file SomeGuy said, the ID is valid.

I'll add the screenshot on the another thread.

--> I added the screenshot both DOS and Windows 3.1 version.

DOS version doesn't request the Product ID.
