Microsoft Word For DOS 5.5

When I was installing MS Word for DOS 5.5, the Setup asked me for a:

Printer disk

to which the archive "MS Word for DOS 5.5" I have downloaded, had no printer disk image.

As a result, I had to force Setup to close instead.

Can anyone update the archive listed below?

Please keep in mind that just because this forum lets you use colored text and large fonts does not mean it is a good idea to use them.

Anyway, I have marked that archive as incomplete. There was actually a note in the database about the missing disk, but download specific notes are not currently visible to users.

Original MS Word for DOS 5.5 include 12EA of 5.25" 360KB or 6EA of 3.5" 720KB disks.
Yes, PRINT Disk seems to be missing on 3.5" disk.

The complete Word 5.5a for Dos is still available from the following Microsoft site:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... 55_ben.exe

This is a self extracting archive. You can just change the .exe to .zip to view the files.
Just copy the files to an HDD directory or CD to install to Dos
I just downloaded the file today and it includes all the printer driver folders.

I've uploaded untouched (unmodified) Disk 4 of Microsoft Word 5.5 for DOS (5.25-360k) on ftp.

Already uploaded disk 4 is modified on disk 4 by SETUP.INI.

I also have 5.25" (360KB) of Microsoft Word 5.5A for DOS.
But it is nearly same as version 5.5 except Disk 1 / Disk 2 / Disk 5.

Both my 5.5 and 5.5A disk doesn't include Disk 12 of Optional 1 Disk, hehehe.
