Windows 98 FE Retail Key
I wasn't very clear on my post in Site Issues so I will attempt to be a lot more understandable this time.
I need the RETAIL .ISO key. Not the OEM. The Windows 98 SE Key trick works with the OEM, but NOT the Retail version.
I am currently going through the Serials thread, but trying every single individual key would take weeks.
I cannot bypass the serial key prompt as some have suggested. I want a fully original installation, I have even downgraded the RAM on my vintage laptop to stock and downgraded the BIOS to version A00. There is no going back.

[EDIT] I don't think completely restoring this machine is possible, as I still have to get a new keyboard and port covers for it. I am still open to suggestions but as far as trying new keys I'm done. I'm not going to take the time to reformat the hard drive, mess with the CD, just to get to the key prompt and realize it doesn't work. I seriously think that there is something wrong with that .ISO, but I will not take it to site issues as there is no point in wasting more time on this.

I used the first serial key to install Windows 98 First Edition (Retail Full). By the way I tested all 4 serial keys. All of them are working fine.
CD-Key is different from beween Retail Full and Retail Upgrade.
You can seek Retail Full or Upgrade CD-Key from here or google too.
I think your question(?) seems to be insufficient to answer the question.

yeah, the first product key works, because i am installing windows 98 on a VM using floppy disks, which is nice.
