Windows 95 protection error

I installed W95 OSR2.5 in VPC2007, and when i boot it up, it gives a windows protection error while initializing device IOS. Please help if you can. I will be very appreciated.

There needs to be a how-to.

Windows 95 has all kinds of speed issues on faster computers or VMs.

First, make sure your VM is given less than 512mb of RAM.

Then see if your virtualizer has any way to slow down the VM. If so then boot and install the applicable patches here: https://winworldpc.com/product/windows-95/patches

If you can't get it to boot, try the "Win95 Fast CPU Fixes". That runs from DOS before Windows boots.

Maybe i'll try using VMware since vpc 2007 uses your main clock speed
