[Request] WordPerfect 5.0 3.5"-720k dated 7/11/88
Since this disk set is impossible to repair, I'm just posting this here. I have a WordPerfect 5 disk set but the Fonts/Graphics/PTR disk (disk 2 below) was partially erased and not reparable.
Wordperfect made numerous minor updates without bumping the version numbers. This copy has EXEs dates 7/11/88. This is different from the ones currently on Winworld.
The following is a listing of the disks. The second disk (fonts/graphcis/ptr) is partially erased and incomplete.
If anyone has Fonts/Graphics/PTR matching the below file dates, that would be great.

I'll try to recover it.
So the fat, directory, and every other track on the disk is gone and the only reason I was able to hack together that bit of a directory is that the last few sectors were on the second side.

But the files on this update disk were recompiled and completely different internally. None of the fragments left matched any of these files.I have copied WordPerfect 5.0 (1988).

So I want to see the damaged disk.
P.S. It is very hard to find WordPerfect 5.0 (1988) on eBay.

Are you still looking for this? I don't have this on 720k floppies, but I have a copy of 5.0 on 360k floppies with the same time and date on those files.
Yes, I still am. If the files match exactly, I should be able to piece the disk back together.
Of course, technically, I could just plop a different version on the disks and be done with it, but it would be nice to have this revision archived.
I've sent you a message. The files I have for the corrupt disk you've got seem to have the date you are looking for, but some of the other floppies in the set, notably the printer disks, are a little newer.

It is very nice to have a original disk of 360KB Word Perfect.
I also have a lot of Word Perfect Disk, but it is very hard to find version 5.0 (early release)

I’ve got 4.2 also. I just lucked into these disks. I bought a pile of old C64 stuff and there was a huge box of floppies. When I started going through them I was excited to find stuff I could use on my 5170 too

My dumped WP 5.0 version is 10-07-88.
The bits fell in to place perfectly. Thanks. I've added this to the library.
I've downloaded it (3.5" of WP 5.0) and checked it.
I think font-gra.img (Font/Graphics/PTR Program disk) is not perfect because memory dumped sector is not enough.
So I think Font/Graphics/PTR/Program disk should be dumped by SCP and Kryoflux to fix the problem correctly if possible.
I know the disk seems to be damaged on side 1.
